  It’s our birthday—we’re turning 10, and you can help celebrate in a contest 
that features your favorite book or series.



The Hanging Mobile Contest is open
to teens entering grades 6 to 12, and adults.
Contest begins August 1, 2011, and ends October 24, 2011.
Three winning categories:
grades 6-8, grades 9-12, and College/Adult.
 Finalists will be notified by phone or email by November 1.
Prizes (provided by The Friends of the Library) 
will be awarded at the
Library’s 10th Anniversary Gala
on Sunday, November 6, 2011
 
     Mobile Contest Rules:
  • Maximum weight:  3 pounds
  • Maximum width:    36 inches
  • Maximum length from hanging loop to lowest point on mobile:  36 inches
  • Mobile must have a hanging loop at the top.
  • Mobile must clearly be inspired by a specific book or series.  Book title to be written on entry form.
  • Mobile will be judged on artistry, interpretive elements from book, movement, and balance.
  • Three winning mobiles will remain on display until December 31, 2011.
  • Deadline for submission: 5pm on Monday, October 24, 2011.
