Teens and other readers of Young Adult Literature will once again have the opportunity to download and listen to current bestselling titles and classics this summer. Each week from June 14 - August 22, 2012, SYNC will offer two FREE audiobook downloads.

  1. For my Japanese friends, I'd like to download some of those - but it says: "You need OverDrive® Media Console™ (free!) Download: Mac Windows Mobile (compatible with iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone 7)" - I'm using Linux, so none of that applies. Is there any way to download .mp3 format without having the "OverDrive Media Console"?

  2. I am sorry that OverDrive is not Linux friendly. I don't know if there are any work arounds. However, you do have the option to download to a smartphone. From there it might be possible to transfer to an mp3 device?--if you don't want to use your phone to listen to the book. Please note that some of the audiobooks have international restrictions:
